He has written and lectured extensively on the subject, and his expertise in the genre is highlighted by the publication of his book Animal and Sporting Artists in America, now in its second edition.

Red Fox Fine Art is located in Middleburg, Virginia's historic district, on the second floor of the historic Red Fox Inn and Tavern, which Reuter also owns.
